What better way to celebrate the conclusion of the summer than with Tacos, Cerveza, and Tequila! Join us in downtown Cleveland for a street festival including eats from over 30 taquerias and eateries, ice-cold margaritas, 2 stages of live entertainment, and more! Taco Fest presents a carefully crafted entertainment lineup that’s appealing to all ages. The event will feature some of the regions’ most impressive musical talent line-ups with a range of musical genres and styles performing all day that will please any crowd.
The Cleveland Taco Fest is family-friendly, featuring loads of fun for all ages at the Kids Zone, including bounce houses, glitter tattoos, crafts and so much more! Guests will enjoy hours of action-packed entertainment with Lucha Libre wrestling, daily contests including the hot sauce challenge and timed taco-eating contests, tequila sampling, artisan vendors, and more.
The tequila sampling experience will feature the best anejos, reposados and Platas. Samples will be sold in flights of 3 or 6 products to provide a unique sampling experience at the taco festival.

At the Cleveland Taco Fest, attendees can enjoy over 30 of Cleveland’s hottest local entertainment acts across two stages for four days. A large variety of musical genres will be featured, including rock, R&B, alternative, jazz, country and more. They also can experience a live mariachi band bringing authentic sounds of Mexico through trumpets, guitars and violins while roaming the festival.
Contestants who successfully finish eating all three tacos in their entirety without leaving behind a shred of lettuce or cheese will receive vouchers for food trucks within the festival and two VIP tickets to a future Jacobs Pavilion concert.
Attendees who like it hot, hot, hot and are daring enough to take the challenge of conquering the hottest hot sauces can enter on a first come, first serve basis the Hot Sauce Competition. Participants will be challenged to eat tortilla chips dipped in different hot sauces made from a variety of peppers that increase in heat on the Scoville scale, while answering a few “burning” questions.
The Kids Zone features bounce houses, hands-on arts and crafts activities, face paintings and more.
Throughout the fest, attendees can take in live Lucha Libre entertainment. Lucha Libre wrestlers from American Luchacore Wrestling will battle it out in a ring, showing off their high-flying choreographed maneuvers, colorful masks and spandex outfits that will have attendees on the edge of their seats.

Cleveland Taco Fest will take place in the flats in Cleveland at Jacobs Pavilion from August 29 – September 1, 2024. Hours for the festival are Friday 4pm-11pm, Saturday 11am-11pm, Sunday 11am-11pm, and Monday 11am-11pm.
The festival is located at the Jacobs Pavilion and the on associated festival grounds surrounding Jacobs pavilion. For more information including festival entrances, please check out our event map here.
Tickets purchased in advance of the festival will be $7, but they will also be available at the door for $10. There is no charge for children under the age of 3, veterans or active duty military. To buy tickets in advance, please visit here!
Children under 3 are free at all times.
Yes, all individuals age 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian after 7:00p.m.
Admission grants you access to the festival along with the live entertainment, Lucha Libre wrestling, and Taco Eating & Hot Pepper contests. Activities also include Kids Zone Activities.
Food and beverage is not included with admission, all vendors will be accepting cash, credit or debit.
Food will vary between vendor but tacos will start around $3 each. All vendors will accept cash, credit, and debit. Tequila tasting prices for our Tequila! Tequila! Cantina and beverage prices for our Margarita Fro-zone are available on our website, but we will also have beer, wine, and other spirits and cocktails available at our other festival bars as well.
No outside food or beverages are allowed. Baby formula, baby bottles, or young child’s sippy cup are allowed.
Backpacks, large purses and large shoulder bags are prohibited. Maximum allowable bag size is 12”W x 12”H x 6” D.
No pets allowed, with the exception of service animals.
